I highly recommend Whidbey South Woodworks. They turned a cold, drab, dated room into a wonderfully heated cork floored yoga studio. It's beautiful. They added a new window too and it was installed properly, no problems at all. And, they replaced the rotted subfloor where needed. Mark and his team are highly skilled, on time, clean (!!!) and well priced. I also like the way that Mark treats his workers, which says a lot too. We (My Wife Sydney and Me/Joe) are long standing and repeat clients of South Whidbey Wood Works (SWWW). On mutiple occasions SWWW has repaired, refurbished and restored our cedar wood deck and railing system. Most recently SWWW completly refurbished the cedar wood deck, railing system and replaced the lower deck lattice grid, and replaced the lattice with 1x3 cedar wood boards. Mark and John did a full remodel on my kitchen and replaced the flooring in the upstairs with bamboo. The communication was great, the crew ALWAYS showed up when they said, worked hard while they were here, and left my house cleaned up. They were respectful in my space, their work (and advice) was professional and accurate, and I was pleased with the end result. All this work was done in less than 5 days and was under budget. My only regret was not taking Marks advice on custom cabinetry. I thought I’d save money with IKEA and in the end spent more for an inferior quality. Mark is such an excellent craftsman. Everything he did for me is A+. And, we live on an island where actually getting a call back, followed by them actually coming out to see the job, is not easy and very frustrating. Mark is a stand-up, show-up guy. He built a deck, a fence, a porch and replaced 2 double-hung windows with a 5'x9' window for me (before & after photos). Attention to detail and precision is his MO.
